Spreading your love

It was my sisters wedding day on Saturday and it was a truly beautiful event in which family and friends came together in the true meaning of love and togetherness!  On reflection the day was also a wonderful symbol of the way a single focus of unconditional love and giving can spread out to fill the world. We were two families joined together in the unconditional love of the bride and groom.  Many of us met for the first time and we shared in the joy and happiness of the day.  New friendships and inspiration were inspired through the day and the connects of many will continue long into the future all across the country.  The same is within your own every day life, your connects of friendship, work, holidays meetings and family resonate throughout all we do and are.  Our actions, words and thoughts of love spread with the people we know to fill span the world.  Let your actions be of love, light and truth to fill this world with joy and healing

Loving Me

I was beginning to bring together the elements of my next meditation course in October and found myself reflecting on some of the events of the past set of classes. One meditation that was included was focused upon sending love out to the world but equally honouring, accepting and loving self. Whenever I include this meditation within a class or course, I am always aware of the difficulty many people have in loving and accepting self. So many people including myself find it far more easier to give their all to others by praising, supporting and loving those around them. They see the best in others and want to support them in blossoming both spiritually and personally. But they never see the glory within themselves and are blind to the shining light within them.  May people get very emotional and even frustrated with the thought of sending themselves love and accepting for simply being who they are.  A person can often view themselves as unworthy or negative whlst highlighting any past mistakes or actions seeing them as bad or wrong.  How many of us see ourselves as not worthy of love!  Many think themselves less then others or unable to measure up to what they expect of themselves.  Loving oneself and seeing the beauty of your own spirit is often disconcerting but please know that we are all trying our best, we all make mistakes for this is a life of learning, in every existance there is positive and negative action .  What is special about us all is that we are all worthy or love, we all have a light that shines brightly and  is both seen and loved by the divine for all it is and all we are without judgement or demand!!! I humbly ask each person please spend a few moments to send yourself love, take time to rest within your own light which shines out to this world and be forgiving themselves as you have expressed forgiveness to others!!!

Be Inspired

One thing that always makes me smile is that as a medium people often assume that spirit are talking to me 24/7 and that their inspiration and the link is continual. Well while the vibration of spirit is always there, I am a human being leading a material life! The connection of the universal divine and that of my own spirit is all around me not only in the words of spirit but in the life that surrounds us all. Each of us has the connection of inspiration, love and healing with each and every thing on this planet. The presence of the divine is linked and mirrored in us all. Seek that connection in your daily life, the sound of the birds, the smile of a loved one and stillness of a garden. Seek your inspiration in what you see, hear and feel.You don't have to wait for the mighty roar of the booming voice of the divine or the sounds of spirit and angels.   The presence and inspiriation of the divine and spirit are in the still silence of nature, the whispered softness of loving words, hugs and patience and the glory of all around use.  Be inspired by your life and listen to the world around you!!!
